Nine prisoners were arraigned in district court in Sheridan this morning, and their pleas taken. Five pleaded guilty and were sentenced, while the others pleaded not guilty and were remanded to the county jail to await trial next month.
The pony outfit that will be given away next month has arrived in Sheridan. A nice little black-and-white pony, a pretty red-wheeled buggy and a brand new harness will be given away to some little boy or girl on Oct. 2 at the end of this summer’s Pony Campaign.
Frank Horton’s engine passed through Banner Tuesday, on the way to Sheridan with a load of freight attached.
