The formal opening of the sugar beet factory in Sheridan will be on Oct. 23, and is to be the occasion of a big celebration. Governor Kendrick will be present and will deliver an address. Also attending will be all the other state officials, President Kelly of the Sheridan Sugar company, other officers and stockholders of the company and a number of Burlington officials.
Reed’s has received more new coats for the big sale planned for tomorrow. Smart styles in a number of varieties will be offered starting at $7.50, up to $35.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wulfjen left today for California for a four months’ stay. They expect to visit both expositions while there.
