Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to accept an agreement with Cushing Terrell of Denver for design work and construction administration on the pending renovations on the historic courthouse and jail facility.
The project has been on hold for two years, according to County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller.
Cushing Terrell took the $50,000 off of their fees they have already been paid for the pre-work they have already completed on the $3 million project, sticking to their original agreement to stay under 10% of the total project cost for their design and administrative work, according to Obermueller.
The amount remaining to be paid to Cushing Terrell in the agreement is $242,500.
