A Sheridan brewery recently won a medal at one of the top beer competitions in the country. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
A Barrel Aged Winner
The 2022 Great American Beer Festival was held October 6-8 in Denver, Colorado. Black Tooth Brewing Company Co-Founder Time Barnes said that they were one of two breweries from Wyoming to take home a medal from the prestigious competition.

Barnes said Black Tooth won a bronze medal in the wood and barrel aged strong ale category for their anniversary beer “1314.”

Barnes said this year there were 133 entries in the wood and barrel aged strong ale category and that “1314” is a beer that they’ve had a lot of success with in the past as it has won numerous medals and awards at a number of different beer competitions.
