Sheridan Public Works Says Kendrick Pool to Open ASAP

According to an earlier Sheridan Media story, the Kendrick Park Pool was scheduled to open for the season Saturday June 3, but it was announced last week that the opening needed to be delayed due to issues with equipment at the pool.

Sheridan City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer, while a guest on our talk show Public Pulse Thursday, explained the problem that caused the delay.

Mercer said the next step is testing the repairs.

Mercer said the city is designing a new pool, and explained what will go into the new design.

Mayor Rich Bridger will make an announcement on the opening of the pool as soon as possible, according to Mercer.
