Johnson County OK’s Changes to Agreements for Crazy Woman Canyon Project

A Funds Transfer Agreement and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the project to replace a bridge over the North Fork of Crazy Woman Creek in Crazy Woman Canyon was brought before the Johnson County Commission during the commission’s recent meeting.

County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer explained that the Funds Transfer Agreement is for $24,200 which is an increase of the county’s 9.51% cash match portion on the project.

Pehringer said the MOA is for the Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP) funding, and is Modification No.2 on the project, reflecting a change in the county’s total cost from $221,800 to $246,000 due to inflation, according to Pehringer.

Pehringer gave an update on the timeline for the project.

The commission voted to approve Chairman Novotny to sign the agreement documents.
