The fire department responded to four calls within an hour and 15 minutes this forenoon.
The calls came at a time when the wind was at its highest. Owing to the promptness of the firefighters’ response, together with strong water pressure, no damage was done at any of the blazes.
The strong wind this morning blew down the temporary enclosure in front of the Sheridan National Bank building. The wreckage was carried into the middle of the street.
J.G. McIlivain of the O Four Bar ranch at Ranchester is in the city today.
Mrs. J.N. Hopingardner is ill at her home.
Mrs. Jack Moore has returned from Cheyenne, where she attended the inaugural ceremonies.
