County Commission Chairman T.B. Brundage went to Arvada yesterday to inspect the work being done on abutments and pier for a bridge across the Powder River.

The bridge is 18 miles northeast of Arvada. The commissioners will let the contract for construction of the bridge at their meeting in February. The bridge will be a steel structure of two 100-foot spans.

Internal Revenue collector E.C. Frazier is in the city today.

Mrs. Lucy Eldred of Ulm made final proof on a homestead today.

Mrs. E.R. Dinwiddie entertained a number of ladies at a noon dinner yesterday. The event was in honor of her mother, Mrs. Fulmer.

Florence Holland and Emma Watt entertained the young folks of Arvada at a skating party on Clear Creek this week.
