James Renie received the Bankers Cup, a $50 trophy, for his prize pen of chickens in yesterday’s poultry show.
The cup was donated by Sheridan bankers to the Northern Wyoming Poultry association show here in the city. Mr. Renie showed a pen of Single-Comb Brown Leghorns to victory. If he wins the cup three years in succession, the trophy will be in his possession permanently.
State Rep. Graverson of Sheridan County has introduced a bill in the Legislature that would provide for punishment of husbands who desert or fail to support their wives as well as their children. Wyoming law until now has made it a felony only for a parent to abandon their children.
