Some of the school funds collected by the Sheridan County treasurer may be ready for distribution this week.
Funds will be distributed first among the districts where the treasurer has filed a bond. Districts where no bond has been filed may receive funds next week.
Mrs. Nettie B. Held of Sheridan left today for an extended trip. She plans to go first to the east coast of Florida, then to San Francisco by way of Havana and the Panama Canal. She will be gone for several months.
Governor and Mrs. John B. Kendrick are “at home” tonight in the executive mansion in Cheyenne. Upwards of 700 people are expected to attend.
