The Stampede was the subject of the Commercial Club luncheon last night.

A permanent Stampede Committee was appointed.

Judge T.J. Foster has received the Southern Cross of Honor in recognition of his service to the lost cause 50 years ago. The honor is conferred by the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

L.T. Rawlings is in Sheridan today. He ranches near Ranchester.

F.H. Hamilton of Buffalo is in the city today, consulting a specialist about his eyes.

J. Frank Owen has written from San Francisco, where he and his wife are attending the exposition. He reports they are enjoying the event and expect to be home around March 15.
