Sheridan police are asking the aid of parents and teachers to eliminate the games of marbles that are happening in the middle of the city streets.
Marble season is now in full blast, and because the ground is still muddy, children are running the games on the pavement, especially at street corners where traffic is heavy. The youngsters are frequently so absorbed in their games that street cars and automobiles must stop to avoid running them down. Police say the games have become a serious menace to the children’s lives.
Miss Edna Church, the teacher at Wolf, is in Sheridan today to spend the weekend with her parents.
