The titles to 84 acres of land in Sheridan County have been transferred to the Sheridan Sugar Company.
County commissioners in a special meeting today deeded the old experimental farm southeast of the city to the company with no restriction other than that a sugar factory be built on the land. The farm contains 50 acres, and the Sheridan Commercial Club purchased 34 adjacent acres for the company’s use.
Norman Stewart came in from Beckton tonight. He will remain in Sheridan through Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Lewis of Buffalo are in Sheridan today.
Governor John B. Kendrick went to Hardin this afternoon. He will return on Sunday.
