A.C. Evans has been awarded the contract for construction of over 3,600 feet of water lines in Sheridan.
The contract was awarded at this morning’s city council meeting, and is for extension of the city water system to include certain portions of the city that have not been supplied previously.
A blizzard broke over Johnson County at 5:30 this morning, and continued until this afternoon. Buffalo reported about 8 inches of snow, and at the Burnett ranch on Crazy Woman, 10 miles south of the city, the snow was 14 inches deep.
The Sheridan high school senior class is making great preparation for commencement week, which will start on May 29 with the junior banquet. Dean Cross will preach the class sermon at the Episcopal church on Sunday evening, and commencement will be on June 4. Dr. Stanton Coit of London will deliver the address.
