Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 14, 1915.

Governor John B. Kendrick is home for a short visit from his duties in Cheyenne. He plans to spend the next eight or 10 days in Sheridan looking after his various interests here. He says he also will make a trip to his ranch before returning to the state capital.

Visitors in Sheridan today include Ella William of Buffalo, and M.R. Black of Ranchester.

High water on Saturday washed out the reservoir which was being constructed on the ranch of Judge W.S. Metz. The ranch is four and a half miles south of Sheridan. The reservoir was nearly completed, and would have placed about 200 acres under irrigation.
