Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 26, 1915.
A hail storm of unparalleled severity caused great damage to crops in the district of Banner, Kearney and the surrounding country yesterday afternoon. The storm lasted for 30 minutes, and the hail was accompanied by a downpour of rain.
Dr. R.E. Crane has gone to Kooi to engage in practice.
Visitors in Sheridan today include Frank Holly, E. Owens and Will Mattox, all of Parkman.
R. A. Keenan has returned to Sheridan from a business trip of several weeks in the east.
