Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 30, 1915.
The closing recital of the summer season was given before a good-sized audience last night at the warerooms of the Decker-Cummings Music company. The program was of unusual excellence. Mrs. Frank M. Downer evoked a storm of applause with her vocal rendition of Mathews’ “Autumn.”
Mr. and Mrs. William McConn of Buffalo stopped in Sheridan today. They’re on their way to the exposition at San Francisco.
The Pioneer Lumber Company is remodeling the interior of the offices and constructing a new front.
Mrs. E.M. Cook arrived last night from Oklahoma. She will spend several weeks in Sheridan visiting relatives and friends.
