Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on July 4, 1915.
Because the Fourth of July is on Sunday this year, Sheridan’s Golden Rule store will be closed all day tomorrow, July 5, in honor of our nation’s birthday.
The Sheridan Inn will serve Sunday dinner from 6 until 7:30 tonight. The meal will include bisque of lobster, your choice of entrees, grapefruit salad, new potatoes in cream, young beets in butter, badminton cup, French rolls, English muffins, and your choice of desserts.
Little Miss Ruth Guyer is reported to be quite seriously ill with tonsilitis.
