F.C. Poll, his wife and daughter have returned from a five month’s trip on the Pacific Coast, four months of which were spent in San Diego.
They visited both expositions during their stay in California. Mr. Poll says land values there are extraordinarily high.
Representatives of the Pierce-Bacon Engineering Company of Denver are in Sheridan and have asked the city council for a franchise to cover the construction and operation of a gas plant here.
Arrangements are being made to hold the second annual Sheridan Indian and Pioneer Stampede for two days in September, including Labor Day. The event will be under direction of Dr. William H. Frackleton.
Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Henderson were hosts at an especially well-arranged family dinner on Sunday.
