The acreage of winter wheat in the Sheridan country is better than ever. That’s according to Ralph Denio, manager of the Denio Milling company. He added that, in spite of the large crop this year, the yield still won’t be sufficient to supply the demands of the local flouring mills.

The third watch in this summer’s Pony Campaign will be awarded at the Gem Theater at about 3 o’clock tomorrow. Three watches remain to be given to Sheridan boys and girls.

Pictorial review patterns for August, and the summer fashion book are now on sale at Humphrys’ New Store in Sheridan. Patterns may be had for only 33 cents. Also at Humphrys’, large chiffon motor veils, regular 89-cent value, are just 50 cents.
