Vegetables in the truck farms of Frank Smith and J.T. Burkhart were ruined in the hailstorm that fell yesterday in the Big Goose valley about three miles west of Sheridan. Forty-two hundredths of an inch of rain fell in the city.

Regular 20-cent Nainsook and Longcloth for underwear will be 14 cents at yard tomorrow during the Friday Housekeepers’ Bargain Day at Reed’s.

Both passenger trains were more than two hours late arriving in Sheridan today. Engine 41 was delayed on account of heavy rains in the Missouri valley. The cause of delay for 42 was unknown.
