Little Evelyn Towle of Sheridan was made happy today as the winner of the fourth watch given away in the merchants’ pony campaign. She is the first girl to win a watch so far. The final two watches will be given away on Sept. 4 and 18, and the big award of the pony outfit will be on Oct. 2.
F.W. Ratcliff of Dayton stopped in Sheridan yesterday on his way from Denver. He traveled overland in a new Metz touring car, for which he is the agent.
Visitors in Sheridan today include Mrs. E.H. Schemel of Ranchester, and J.J. McDermott of Arvada, who is transacting business here.
