Mrs. E.V. Pointer has a display of the new fall styles in hats at her business at 7 S. Main Street. A special line of hats is available from $3 to $5.

All teachers employed in the schools in Sheridan are required to attend the Sheridan County Teachers Institute. The institute starts on Aug. 31 and will continue through Sept. 3 at the county courthouse.

The Sheridan Meat Company sells the only home-cured honey-flavored hams in the city. They’re guaranteed to be better than any other hams on the market, and they’ll be on sale for just 18 cents a pound tomorrow.
