Two thousand fat lambs belonging to T.A. Stout went on the Omaha market Tuesday at $8.60. That netted him $5.93 per head without any cutbacks.
Sealed proposals are now being taken for the furnishing of screened lump coal to the several school houses in Sheridan’s School District 7. Bids will be opened and awarded on Sept. 1 at 7:30.

The fire department responded last evening to a call from the Home Laundry after coals from a stove ignited the floor. Aside from a small hole that was burned in the floor, there was no damage.
