A head of cabbage weighing 14 pounds is on display in the window of Ote Felker’s news stand. The cabbage, which is of the early Wakefield variety, was grown in Mr. Felker’s garden on South Brooks street.
The first arrivals of new fall suits are at the Golden Rule store and will be available to the public tomorrow. A choice of a dozen or more new styles in women’s suits are priced at $16.50 to $25.
Jacob Wren at Sheridan Real Estate company has a number of fine dairy cows for sale. The cows are in town and handy to show, and the price is very reasonable.
Mr. and Mrs. James Bronson have returned home from a horseback trip to the mountains.
