George Wright, one of the field men for the Sheridan Sugar company, brought in a fine exhibit of vegetables grown by Charles Schreibeis on Tongue River. The samples of sugar beets are not as large as some grown in the district, but they are uniform and excellent in quality.
A valuable watch was stolen yesterday afternoon from the office of A.F. Meyer’s feed store. The thief is believed to be a man who entered the office while Mr. Meyer was out of the room. When Mr. Meyer returned to the office, the man was waiting, and asked for some pennies in exchange for a dime. The theft of the watch wasn’t noticed for several hours.
Scotch comedians Gruber and Kew are featured in their final performance at the Orpheum theater tonight.
