R.E. McNalley and H.W. Nichols have been appointed by Judge Parmalee to defend the man who shot and killed H. Hollis of Sheridan on Monday night. The accused pleaded guilty at his preliminary trial, and there is considerable speculation over whether he could be sentenced by the court to hang if he persists in his guilty plea.
