More than 900 votes had been cast by 2:30 this afternoon in the municipal primary election. Ideal weather prevails, and indications are that the polls will close tonight after the largest vote in the history of the city.
Albert Barber died at the state hospital at 11 o’clock today as the result of injuries received when he was run over by a beet wagon at Clearmont yesterday afternoon. The unfortunate man was driving the wagon when the team of horses started suddenly, and he was thrown from the seat.
