More than 2,000 horses will be brought into Sheridan over the next few days. The reason is that Sheridan has been selected as the holding point for horses purchased by the French government for the war in Europe. The shipment of horses from the United States to France has been brought to a standstill because of the number of boats commandeered to take troops to the Balkans.

Sheridan’s Golden Rule store will have a sale tomorrow of excellent new suits in a variety of models for $11.50. Selections include wool poplin, men’s wear serge, fancy tweeds, gabardines and novelties.

Comedy singing and dancing and comedy shadowgraphists vaudeville acts are featured at the Orpheum today along with four reels of pictures. Admission is 20 cents, 10 for children.
