In accordance with proclamations of President Wilson and Governor Kendrick, the people of Sheridan will generally observe Thursday as a day of Thanksgiving. All business will be suspended on that day, and the public schools and Holy Name school will close Wednesday afternoon and not reopen until Monday.

Thirty families in Sheridan will be provided with Thanksgiving dinners courtesy of the school children and the Round Table. Baskets of food donated by the children will be sent out Wednesday by automobile from the D and D garage on West Loucks street.

Tarlton R. Snead of Clearmont is transacting business in Sheridan today.
