Two hundred and sixty birds are entered in the fourth annual poultry show that opened in Sheridan this afternoon. The show is produced by the Northern Wyoming Poultry Association, and is in the room formerly occupied by the Buick garage on Brundage street. Perhaps never before in the history of the city has there been a classier bunch of pure breds gathered.
The soldiers and civilians of Fort Mackenzie have formed an athletic club for the furtherance of indoor athletics, social purposes, and to assist in making the winter months much more enjoyable. The new Fort Mackenzie Athletic Association is planning various kinds of contests, such as boxing, wrestling and gymnastic events.
A miner at Dietz has been arrested and is in the county jail on a charge of gambling.
