R.E. Hariman, agent for the Montana Life Insurance company, went to Clearmont today to investigate a loan that his company is considering. Since Sept. 1, the Montana Life Insurance company has loaned more than $40,000 in the Sheridan country.

The Broadway Meat company in Sheridan has announced Christmas week specials including dressed turkeys 22 cents a pound, dressed geese 22 cents a pound, dressed ducks 75 cents each, dressed chickens 20 cents a pound, and beef prime ribs 15 cents a pound.

The local Salvation Army will serve a dinner on Christmas day at the barracks on Alger street for the down-and-out men of the city. A Christmas tree for the poor children of the city will be Friday at the old city hall.
