A Look Back in Time: March 8, 1916

Mr. and Mrs. Junior Spear returned to the ranch near Clearmont today after spending a few days in Sheridan.

The Singer Sewing Machine Company has installed the latest type of hemstitching machine in their store on North Main street in Sheridan. They are prepared to do all kinds of hemstitching work on a variety of fabrics at the same prices as in other cities, saving Sheridan customers time and postage.

The Princess Theatre is holding a pony contest. A beautiful Shetland pony will be given away to the boy or girl who secures the most votes from March 10 until June 10. The pony will be shown on the stage at the Princess Theatre at 8:30 on the night of March 10.
