A Look Back in Time: June 1, 1916

Fifty-four Sheridan High School graduates, comprising the largest class to graduate in the history of Wyoming, the girls each holding a large bunch of American beauty roses, sat on the stage of the Orpheum theater for commencement exercises last night. Every seat in the theater was taken, and there were many people standing.

Property owners living in the proposed paving improvement district for North Main from Fifth to Eighth streets have filed a petition against the proposed district.

The eighth grade of the Hill school won the prize offered by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sheridan chapter, for the best average for the year in United States history.
