Dr. John A. Gray, the hobo preacher of New York, appeared at Sheridan’s chautauqua yesterday afternoon and gave a lecture on the subject, “Out of Work.” The Meistersingers opera company, an organization of nine people, gave an extravaganza as a prelude to the lecture, which was much enjoyed.
The Central Market in Sheridan has choice loin steaks, t-bones and short cuts for 20 cents a pound.
