The valuation of the taxable property of Sheridan County for 1916 is just under $17 million. That’s according to the abstract of the assessment roll prepared in the office of County Assessor John X. Morris, and is exclusive of railroads, telegraph and telephone lines.

The county commissioners returned this afternoon from an inspection of a portion of the Dome Lake road, after making arrangements to have some work done at once. A bridge with concrete abutments has been constructed across Williams gulch on the Lower Tongue River road.
