John Earl Hewitt, former principal of the high school at Aspen, Colo., has been elected instructor of mathematics and coach of the Sheridan high school. He will fill the vacancy made by the resignation of Mr. Little.

G.T. Stahl, receiver of the Buffalo land office, is in Sheridan to attend the primary tomorrow. Mr. Stahl is spending a month’s vacation in camp near Hillman’s ranch in company with his family.

County School Superintendent Mrs. Inez Cotton says only four teachers remain to be selected in the 83 schools in Sheridan county outside the city of Sheridan. There has been a notable rise in the standard of Sheridan county teachers during the last year.
