William Moncreieffe and Charles Lee won the doubles championship in yesterday afternoon’s tournament before the largest gathering of tennis fans ever assembled in Sheridan.

John Booz of Parkman is a visitor in Sheridan today.

Some exceptionally fine examples of corn grown by Sam Brockman are on exhibit at the office of Deyo Hasbrouck. The corn was planted June 20 and is well matured. One of the ears is 10 inches in length.

Dr. David E. Kendall went to Clearmont today to arrange for the dedication of the new Methodist church at that place next Sunday.
