Many schools of the rural districts in Sheridan county have been converted into rope halter or hackamore factories. The work doesn’t exclude regular school work but is a sideline on which the boys put their spare time. Rope halter making was selected as the winter club work for boys in Wyoming schools this year.

James H. Burgess was elected judge of the fourth judicial district court, carrying Sheridan and Johnson counties by over 650 votes and defeating incumbent Carroll H. Parmalee.
