Sheridan high school today beat her ancient enemy, Billings high school, by a score of 6 to 2, and put the crown of laurels on the football season for 1916.

Matt Michaels, charged with burglary of the Indian Motorcycle shop on North Main street, was found not guilty by Justice Hoop today, and was discharged from custody. Michaels is a comparatively recent newcomer to Sheridan and before his arrest was employed with the gas company in laying mains.

A runaway coal car ran into the engine of an extra freight near Ohlman last week, and caused a wreck. The engineer jumped, and luckily escaped no injuries aside from a sprained back.
