A Look Back in Time: Dec. 1, 1916

December 1, 2016

Starting tomorrow and continuing until Dec. 9, America will once more observe Electrical Week, a time to pay tribute to this wonderful power. Electricity is coming more and more into general use. As part of the observance, Sheridan County Electric Co. will see that your home is wired for electricity and won’t bill you until after the holidays.

The Carnegie Library in Sheridan will resume story Hour tomorrow. The event has been omitted for the past two Saturdays on account of sickness in the community.

Winter coats will be $1 each at Sheridan’s Golden Rule store tomorrow, which is the last day of their alteration sale.
