Letters were awarded yesterday evening to members of the Sheridan high school football team who participated in the required number of games during the past season. A letter was also presented to Coach Hewitt for his work during the season.
A jury in Justice Story’s court yesterday afternoon awarded $67, the full amount of his claim, to the plaintiff, and assessed the costs against the defendant. The case grew out of a collision between autos driven by the parties to the suit at the intersection of Loucks and Main streets.
Mr. and Mrs. L.T. Rawlings of Ranchester were passengers on Engine 42 for Sheridan today.
