A Look Back in Time: Dec. 17, 1916

Mrs. A.M. Luce and the Misses May Jacobs and Beulah Grimes, teachers of the schools at Ranchester, left on Engine 42 at noon today for Sheridan. They will attend the teachers institute which is convening at Sheridan for a five-day session.

The Jupiter Athletic and Pleasure club of Ulm will give their first annual ball at the Ulm hall on Dec. 23.

Mrs. H.C. Williams of the Cottage Cafe in Ranchester went to Sheridan today for a brief visit with her daughters. She will also do some Christmas shopping.

Arthur Dickson of Dayton came to Ranchester today. He was a Sheridan passenger on Engine 42.
