Appropriations totaling $123,779.47 are provided for in the annual budget adopted by the Sheridan city commissioners at a meeting today. The city police department is to be enlarged, and an eight-hour day adopted for officers instead of the current 12-hour day.

E.R. Harris had a phone installed at his ranch on Soldier Creek.

The tennis courts in Pioneer park have been converted into an excellent skating rink that will be ready for use later this week. There is ample room for skaters, and the rink has the advantage of being absolutely safe.
