N.A. Pearson has been awarded a contract for construction of a gardener’s cottage, the greenhouse, and the stable and garage at Verner Z. Reed’s summer home south of Sheridan. Work on the large house has been proceeding slowly this winter because of the severity of the weather.

The Monarch Engineering company of Denver was the low bidder for construction of four bridges in Sheridan county this year. County commissioners opened bids this morning at their regular monthly meeting. Monarch’s bid was just over $19,200.

James Klindt is offering for sale a five-acre tract and five-room house in town for $5,000.
