Evangelist Shepard preaches an old-fashioned religion every evening at the First Baptist church in Sheridan. The hearty prayer response last night was much appreciated by a large audience.
E.W. Stone, a large cattle owner of Campbell county, in company with his wife spent several days in Sheridan this week. While here, they purchased a fine modern home on West Works, and they expect to move to Sheridan in the near future.
An active campaign has been launched to secure the organization of a country club for Sheridan. The need for such an organization here has been felt for a long time.
