Doc Spear of Sheridan, together with W.M. Spear and Charles Spear of Billings, has purchased the ML ranch, located near Kane, 14 miles from Lovell in the Big Horn Basin. A company is being incorporated under the name Spear Brothers to operate the ranch. The consideration was $110,000.
The jury returned a verdict yesterday in district court for the defendant in the $50,000 damage suit instituted by Ralph Hughes against the Acme Coal company.
Riley Motor Co. has been receiving a number of shipments of new cars recently, having unloaded two carloads of Overlands and one load of Cadillacs within the last 10 days.
