Sheridan businessman T.T. Tynan writes that he’s in favor of retaining the city commission form of government here. Tynan says he doesn’t think there’s a form of government better for a city than the commission form.
The Basket Grocery is offering more than 50 prizes for the most successful guesses on the length of time the candle will burn in the grocery’s window. The candle will be lighted this morning, and guesses will begin on March 15.
