Twenty patriotic young women of Sheridan high school have volunteered their services to make a canvass of the city Saturday to raise funds for the Sheridan County Patriotic fund. Each of the boys who have left Sheridan to go to the navy have been presented with a $10 gold piece, and there will be many other uses for which money will be needed.

Harry Wood is in the city from Parkman today. Also in Sheridan are C.E. Francis of Clearmont and G.A. Blake of Ucross, who’s here on business.

Housewives, don’t let the butter melt or the milk sour. Phone the Sheridan Ice Co. at 220 for prompt delivery of pure, honest-weight ice.
