Sheridan County Electric Co. has the six-pound Hotpoint electric iron, a $4.50 value, for sale for $3 cash.

The banks of Sheridan have announced they will close at noon on Saturdays starting on June 2. The custom of closing banks at noon on Saturday is followed in nearly all of the cities of the United States.

Miss Leora Zander has finished her term of teaching in Birney and will be home in Sheridan for some time.
